"I am a macro photographer". That is what I ended up noticing after downloading about a hundred photo's or so as a new photographer. I just seem to notice the minor things as I am out for a walk in nature. The tiny details seem to catch my eye so quickly that it just amuses me after a while and becomes the shot I want to take. I love the way the light plays up the moment as I focus my lens and it all comes into view as I press the shutter button. Then, there it is, right there on my screen, a moment frozen in time for me to enjoy and play with. I was watching some hummingbirds outside my back door as they flew around the feeder that I had just put out for them. It started to rain, which I managed to capture in this fun little photo of a hummingbird sitting on my back fence. It feels soulful and whimsical to me. I like the idea of this in a short little landing area of the home, or in an office, perhaps the kitchen or dining area of the home as well. I think it fits in with interior design and home decorating. It would also make a nice phone cover or greeting card, too!
